Bob Fitzhenry

Living Memorials Project Team Member; Northeastern Area, Durham Field Office Group Leader for Information, Management, and Analysis

Bob Fitzhenry is the Northeastern Area, Durham Field Office Group Leader for Information, Management, and Analysis (IMA). He is also a member of the Living Memorials Project Team, responsible for communications aspects of the initiative. Fitzenry came to the USDA Forest Service in March 2002, after a 10 year civilian career with the US Navy. With the Navy, he worked as an on-site field representitive, and later, in business management and public affairs.

Fitzhenry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with distinction, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA. His degree coursework included focus in environmental and land planning study. He has taken graduate coursework in hydrology and water resources.

Fitzhenry is also a competitive cyclist and a writer. He is the author Mountain Bike America: New Hampshire/Maine, an access guide to recreation on the open public lands of New Hampshire and Maine.
