Living Memorials Project Team Member; Assistant Director for Forest Management, USDA Forest Service Northeastern Area
Assistant Director Robin Morgan provides executive oversight for programs in the northeastern 21 states, with responsibilities in the inner city through the urban wildland interface to remote forested landscapes. Morgan's work history includes management of a university-owned urban farm; open space planning for a park district; grant revenue and volunteer management for parks and recreation; urban forestry consultant for local, state, and federal units of government and nonprofit organizations; urban forester in charge of street tree program for Sarasota County, FL; urban forestry program manager for USDA Forest Service Southern Region and the International Institute of Tropical Forestry; and Director for Cooperative Forestry Programs in the USDA Forest Service Northeastern Area. Morgan holds a BS in Horticulture from Oregon State and a BLA and a MLA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon.
